Policies and Procedures

Stacy Claire Boyd:

Our best selling line! We offer free return address imprinting on your Stacy Claire Boyd birth announcement pre-order. This applies only to the birth announcements (thank you notes are not included, but may be purchased at a greatly reduced rate of .25 per envelope) and must be pre-ordered before the due date AND before the baby is born. The return is printed in our store, on Stacy Claire Boyd envelopes and may be in an exact matching font or one that is very similar. 

Early envelope shipping costs 6.00. 

Stacy Claire Boyd has a turn around time of 3-4 days during non holiday times. During holiday times (October - mid December) please check with us to find the turn around time. In addition to the production time is shipping. The cards ship directly to you from Birmingham, Alabama. 

Our other lines: 

We carry a variety of cards from numerous vendors. We stand behind all of our products. When ordering online or over the phone we will email you a proof within 24 hours of your order. This will be text only, but will give you the opportunity to make sure we have all information and spelling correct. Please reply back to the email with approval or changes. Once approval is given we print within 24-48 hours on in-stock items. If the card is out of stock please allow 3-4 extra days. We ship United States Post Office and UPS. Overnight and 2nd day air is available at additional cost. Please call for pricing 

Ink Color:

All Stacy Claire Boyd cards are printed in black ink. Should you prefer a different color the price for stock color is 75.00 per order and 150.00 for a custom color. Please refer to their website for a list of stock colors. 

All other cards besides Stacy Claire Boyd have the ability to be printed in any color. At Announcements, Etc we match to the card exactly. Select a color you would like, example light blue, and then we will pull the light blue from the card and match that shade exactly! It’s our specialty here at Announcements, Etc.

Correctness guarantee:

We guarantee that your cards will be correct. Whether you order on-line or over the phone we will email you a proof of wording. Once we have your approval on the wording we guarantee that your cards will be printed that exact way. If any order were to contain an error or misprint caused by our staff, we will happily reprint it at no cost to you. If a mistake is made in the information given to us or you do not notice an error on the proof before giving approval please call us to discuss your options for reprinting.

Payment Information:

We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. Your order will be charged when it reaches our store. If you are pre-ordering your announcements before the baby is born your card will be charged half and then the other half will be due upon arrival of the baby. If you can cancel your order after a proof has been emailed to you than there will be a 15.00 proof fee charged to your account. If you cancel your order after the proof has been sent, but before the cards have been printed there will be a 20% restocking fee. Because of the nature of the items we sell we cannot accept refunds on printed items.

Shipping Charges

We ship United States Post Office, Priority Mail. Shipping time is usually 2-4 days. Envelopes and most cards carried by us ship from Houston, Texas. Shipping charges are by total amount of order and are as follows. Please call for pricing for Overnight or 2nd Day Air.
$100.00 = 8.00
$100.01- $175.00 = 9.50
$175.01- $250.00 = 13.00
$250.01- $325.00 = 15.00
$325.01- $400.00 = 17.00
$400.01 -$500.00 = 19.00
$500.01 - $600.00 = 21.00
